Hello there! Welcome to my site! I'm Spencer (or you can call me Spence), and I am a photographer from Kansas City. I've always had a passion for creating. I enjoyed painting and drawing when I was younger until I found the darkroom in high school. My first print in the darkroom was magical. I plunged the photo paper into the darkroom chemicals, and they came alive, forging a black-and-white image in seconds. It got me hooked.

 

I started my photo journey on the award-winning Hauberk yearbook staff, where I earned several awards for my photos. I was the photo editor for my college newspaper, the Campus Ledger.

I'm an enthusiast of history, and as a photographer, I capture and memorialize the world around me. My photography allows me to capture unique moments, create, explore new destinations, meet new people, and experiment with lighting and camera settings. The possibilities in photography are boundless.

I specialize in portraits, events, and sports - but I can shoot just about anything.  

 

When I don't have a camera in my hand, I'm usually busy playing ultimate frisbee, playing board games, hiking or backpacking, taking a deep dive through the pages of Wikipedia(I'm a lover of trivia), or listening to all types of music.
